Hi, I am NOT a professional photographer. I am just someone who used to ride horses and still loves them. I can remember riding in shows and wishing that my mother could take pictures of me.  I always looked at the professional photographers' pictures but could never afford them. So now I am turning my love for horses and my love of photography into something rewarding.

 One reason I do not charge the huge amounts of money that professional photographers do is because I have my pictures developed like everyone else (most of the time at a 1-hr photo place) and not at a professional lab.

5x7   $4.00

8x10   $8.00

There is a shipping and handling charge to send the picture(s) to you: $5.00.

Double click on the Index sheet picture and the thumbnail should enlarge. Sometimes it will come up in a larger format and then seem to 'shrink' a bit. Hold your mouse over the new picture for a moment and a little square with four arrows should appear in the lower right corner of the picture. Click on that and it will enlarge the picture a bit more. I had some complaints in 2005 that the Index pictures were not large enough to see all the littler pictures on it so this year I made the Index pictures larger. It will take time to open for you, depending on your computer internet connection. I hope it's worth the wait since you'll be able to see the pictures better.

In regards to how to order a picture, enlarge the Index thumbnail and if you see a picture you're interested in, write down the number underneath it. Send me an e-mail with the picture(s) and sizes that you want, including your address, and I'll advise how much it will cost.

The pictures listed on this page (2007 pictures) will show the finished picture (cropped and edited). On the 2005 page, some pictures listed in the Index sheets are un-cropped. 

The pictures in the photo albums that I bring to each show will be cropped and edited.

(If there are individual pictures listed below, in three columns, they are temporarily up for viewing and possible purchase by the owner/rider of that particular horse. They are not available to the public without the owner's express permission. Thank you.)

Unfortunately, due to finances, I will not be photographing the Garrett Hoofprints 4-H Horse Shows this year. I am only going to be photographing the MTSC Shows.

Garrett Hoofprints 4-H Show

If you've ever wondered why I don't hold myself out to be a professional photographer, you'll see why by the pictures I took on the 9th. I set the camera on the wrong settings for the jumping pictures and some others. You'll notice that the pictures seem to be VERY light and some of the lighter colors look "blown-out" and they are. I tried to restore the pictures to the best that I could however on some it didn't help much at all.

Some pictures were out of focus slightly but I still liked the picture so I put a filter on them with my computer. PE stands for the Poster Edge filter and DB stands for Dry Brush. I also added that filter to a couple of pictures just for the fun of it.

My apologies for the aggravatingly long wait for these pictures! (another reason I don't hold myself out to be a professional photographer! LOL!!)
