They wrecked in Ashland, KY on Thursday Jan 23, 1936, trying to begin their honeymoon. No injuries! They stayed at the Ventura Hotel. Their marriage license was issued in the office of County Clerk John F. Phillips, for Clarence Edward Teague (Carmon's first name is misspelled in the newspaper clipping in Mildred's scrapbook of this Marriage Licenses notice), 27, Eutaw, Ala., and Mildred Louise (her middle name is Loise) Satterfield, 25, Fairmont.
