| An obituary in our family
records, which does not indicate from which paper it was obtained, reads
as follows:
"Son Of Mobilian Dies In Montgomery W.H. Huxford, son of Mrs. C.C. Huxford of Mobile, died early yesterday morning in Montgomery. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Ben H. Huxford of Fairhope and C.C. Huxford Jr. of Brewton and four sisters, Mrs. Luveta Gramling and Mrs. Phoebe Gallagher, both of Mobile, and Mrs. Clara Edith Toenes of Macon, Miss., and Mrs. Alice Gray of Wilson, N.C. Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning in Montgomery." (Note: According to the personal account of W.H. Huxford's son, W.H. Huxford did not die in Montgomery. He died in his trailer in Hope Hull, Al., which is just outside of Montgomery, Al.) |
