Two newspaper birth announcements, in Bill's baby scrapbook, that do not indicate from what newspaper they were cut, say: "TEAGUES ANNOUNCE BIRTH OF A SON Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Teague of 300 Riverview announce the birth of a splendid son who arrived at the Druid City Hospital Monday morning. This young man has been given the name of Billy Edward Teague and he weighed six pounds, nine ounces at his arrival. Mrs. Teague was the former Miss Mildred Satterfield of Fairmont, W. Va."
"THE TEAGUES' HAVE A NEW SON BORN IN SOUTH A son was born May 25 in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Teague. Mrs. Teague is the former Miss Mildred Satterfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Satterfield, of 621 Walnut Avenue. He is the second child and first son and has been named William Edward for his two grandfathers. The elder child is Linda Teague."

Bill has a Primary Certificate in his scrapbook that says: "Birmingham Public Schools Primary Certificate This certifies that Billy Teague is promoted to the Sr Division, First Grade at Central Park School. Nan Sheppard - Teacher Edgar Keenon - Principle 1/15/1949"

He attended 1st - 3rd grades at Central Park School in Birmingham, AL. He went to Charles A Brown (?) School for 4th grade in 1951. Then he went to Morningview Elementary in Montgomery, AL. He went to Capitol Heights Junior High School until his death.
Bill was a voracious reader. He had diplomas from The Reading Club in 1950 and 1951 from the Birmingham Public Library.
He was on the Metcalf's Little League team in 1953.
